"It is a comedy, but make no mistake,  Chemistry has some serious things to say about mental health. LTC aims, in their words, to bring relevant and thought-provoking theatre to Melbourne, and directors Ryan A. Murphy and Kaarin Fairfax have really hit the mark in this respect. Though there are plenty of laughs throughout, the ending is bitter, and after the lights switched, the audience waited a beat - in that weird space where one isn’t sure if one should move, or clap, or cry. A wise man did say that humour is the best way of dealing with our problems, after all."

CHEMISTRY

"The performances are spirited. The vivacious and convincing Monique Fisher is a real find. She possesses a joie de vivre that should see her go far in her chosen field. In Thomas Filer, too, there’s plenty to like as he assumes the role of a highly-driven personality with heart.

Directed by Ryan A. Murphy, Chemistry is The Little Theatre Company’s first show. It’s entertaining and appealing throughout"
